Recently, leaders from the Laser Fusion Research Center of the China Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP)—also known as Institute No. 8 of CAEP—visited the headquarters of LinkedData for an on-site tour and technical exchange.
About the Laser Fusion Research Center of CAEP

Founded in 2000, the Laser Fusion Research Center of CAEP is a comprehensive national defense research institute dedicated to laser inertial confinement fusion. Guided by national strategic needs and driven by independent innovation, the Center has established an integrated development framework covering experimentation, target fabrication, diagnostics, laser drivers, and optical components.
Over the years, it has formed three core capabilities: high energy density physics, advanced laser technologies, and micro- and nano-scale intelligent manufacturing, making significant contributions to national strategic security and economic development. The Center is headquartered in Mianyang Science City, Sichuan, with additional research branches in Chengdu.
Comprehensive Overview of LinkedData’s Smart Manufacturing Capabilities
During the visit, the Vice President of Marketing of LinkedData delivered a comprehensive company presentation. Through a detailed PPT briefing, the guests were introduced to LinkedData’s development journey, corporate philosophy, core products, and solution portfolio, with a particular focus on the company’s practices and overall roadmap in smart factories, digital lean production, and industrial AI applications.

The Vice President emphasized that LinkedData remains committed to its mission of “Creating Zero-Loss Industrial Manufacturing”, continuously integrating advanced technologies with real industrial scenarios to deliver practical, scalable, and sustainable smart manufacturing solutions.
During the on-site tour, the visiting leaders explored LinkedData’s office environment, future factory concepts, and product demonstration areas. They spoke highly of the team’s capabilities in shop-floor data management, production transparency, and the practical implementation of industrial AI, and engaged in in-depth discussions on technology R&D, innovative applications, and emerging trends in industrial intelligence.

In the exchange session, the visiting leaders raised questions on a wide range of topics, including production scheduling optimization, manufacturing simulation, workshop layout planning, 2D and 3D process design, logistics management (materials, AGVs, and warehouse facilities), intelligent standardization, and AI-based visual inspection algorithms.
The LinkedData team provided detailed responses and shared practical experience and project cases accumulated across various implementations, offering valuable references for further technical discussion and knowledge exchange.
Looking Ahead: Continuous Innovation for Industrial Upgrading
This visit created a valuable opportunity for face-to-face communication and further deepened mutual understanding of smart manufacturing trends, digital transformation practices, and the application value of industrial AI. LinkedData’s management noted that the company will continue to uphold a balanced approach of technological innovation and engineering-oriented implementation, accelerating the deployment of smart factory solutions across more industries and scenarios.
